Hi guys! I just want to let you know that you all did a super job in 2nd grade! You worked really hard with your math facts and learning how to count money. You also worked hard with reading your AR books and your AR levels are very high. I want you all to keep reading this summer and keep practicing your math facts because you will definitely need to know them in 3rd grade. We will start multiplication right away. We will also be learning about division in 3rd grade. What's that? You'll just have to wait and see! I hope you have a super summer and have fun! See you in 3rd grade!

The 2nd graders played a game about the Ten Commandments to review for their Ten Commandments test earlier this month. I split the kids into 2 groups and they had to race to the top of the mountain to see who could get the commandment stones first. The kids could run up, hop up, crawl up or whatever their group decided to do to get to the top of the mountain. Here are some fun pictures of them playing the game!
We are learning about owls in 2nd grade. We got to decorate an owl mask and wear it. Mrs. Zieske took a picture of us hooting in our owl masks. It's fun learning about owls!
